Nature is the true mistress of the Biois Valley; but even more fascinating is how human presence is embedded in this delicate environment without diminishing its harmony.

At Lumen, too, we have made choices in step with the times in line with environmental sustainability, to make the footprint of our passage light. The materials used are local, larch wood and Castellavazzo red stone.

The entire building is classified in energy consumption class A+; the air treatment system in every room avoids heat loss in winter due to the need to open windows; hot water comes from solar panels.

Lastly, the underfloor heating uses the contribution of geothermal energy from the ground, from which we draw heat for free in winter and return it in summer.
